I'm super excited that you would like to contribute guest posts for the blog here. Here a few things to keep in mind as you get started.
Practical examples are important
The theory is fine but it’ll be great if you can show our readers how to implement an idea in real life.
Clarity before wit. Always
If your content is witty but is killing its clarity, then leave the wit out. However, if you can manage both like a pro, then nothing like it.
Share your opinions
A lot of people are talking about marketing, martech and startups. But your content becomes valuable when there is authenticity, and when it is in an approachable manner.
Know your audience
Our blogs are for B2B marketers who are always looking to learn, experiment and iterate. Make sure your content speaks directly to our audience.
Keep the tone casual
It’s good to be serious and love the things you do. But it’s most effective when you talk about it in a casual yet knowledgeable style. Umm… like talking to a friend.
Avoid promotional pitches
We’re a community. We want to help each other and learn from each other. Let’s refrain from trying to include sales pitches directly or indirectly in your story.
